Our Goals are your retirement goals
The IPERS Improvement Association is an information group that has been the voice of IPERS members to the governor, legislature, and to the Iowa Public Employees Retirement System since 1960. Our role is to dedicated to insuring that all IPERS covered government employees receive the best benefits possible upon their retirement from government service.
The IPERS Improvement Association board is comprised of government service employees and retirees who spend many volunteer hours each year protecting IPERS members from privatization and supporting contribution rates. We have a seat at the table with a board member sitting on the Benefits Advisory Committee.
The IPERS Improvement Association keeps members apprised of what is being considered by the Iowa Legislature regarding IPERS benefits, laws affecting the IPERS fund, as well as other issues and concerns that could effect you and your retirement benefits.
